Bank's governor to give assessment on economy

Central Bank governor John Hurley will today address an Oireachtas Committee on the state of the economy and the country’s financial services.

With Ireland facing fears of a recession amid a global credit crunch, Mr Hurley will brief members of the Committee on Finance and Public Service.
