GardaÍ in Dublin say they want to speak to a woman who witnessed a serious assault on the first day of Gay Pride Week last month.

GardaÍ in Dublin say they want to speak to a woman who witnessed a serious assault on the first day of Gay Pride Week last month.

A man received head injuries after being attacked by two others on Wood Quay at around 7.30pm on Sunday, June 15.

GardaÍ say they want to speak to a woman who witnessed the attack and asked a taxi driver to call an ambulance.

She subsequently took the taxi to the Ballyfermot area of Dublin, giving the driver a very accurate descriptions of the culprits and what had happened.

The woman is being urged to contact Pearse Street garda station on 01 6669000 or to telephone her local garda station.
