Timber homes builder will wait a year to hear if he goes to jail
The High Court has adjourned until early next year an application to jail the owner of a timber homes and garden products firm in Co Wicklow for his failure to comply with an order to demolish the company's factory.
In July 2007 Mr Justice Peter Charleton found that a factory and other buildings of Forest Fencing Ltd trading as Abwood Homes, which employs about 70 workers, on the Western side of the N11 at Kiladreenan near Newcastle, Co Wicklow was developed without planning permission.
