A garda sergeant died yesterday after crashing his car on his way home from work on a dual carriageway in Co Wicklow.

The High Court has adjourned until early next year an application to jail the owner of a timber homes and garden products firm in Co Wicklow for his failure to comply with an order to demolish the company's factory.
