Bertie awarded for promoting German-Irish relations

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has been given an award for promoting German-Irish relations.

Mr Ahern was presented with the Kuratorium Prize by the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The award ceremony took place in Dublin last night.
