A drug dealer whose mother had to take out a bank loan to pay off his debts after her home was shot at by criminals has been jailed for four years by Judge Katherine Delahunt at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Patrick Comey (aged 23), of Dunard Avenue, Cabra pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for sale or supply after being caught with €17,300 worth of heroin at his home on September 7, 2006.
