Celia Larkin due back before Mahon Tribunal today

Bertie Ahern's former partner, Celia Larkin, is due back in the witness box at the Mahon Tribunal in Dublin today.

Ms Larkin is expected to face questions about a IR£30,000 loan she received in the 1990s from a bank account associated with Mr Ahern's constituency office in Drumcondra.

She says she received the money, which was taken from the mysterious B/T account, to help buy a house for her elderly aunts, who were threatened with eviction.

However, the loan was only paid back recently, when the tribunal began to investigate it.

Mr Ahern himself is also due back before the tribunal tomorrow to answer questions about his personal finances at the time.
