The pollen is in the air between May and September and are at their peak in June and July.

The majority of Irish people can get relief through prevention and using herbal medicines, rather than chemical drugs.

Nurse Una Caulfield, who has specialised in providing natural and herbal remedies for allergies, says hay fever is very common among the Irish population , affecting more than 600,000 Irish people, or 15% of the population.
