Man accused of murdering father has 'subtle brain difficulties', court hears
A young Cavan man accused of murdering his father has subtle brain difficulties that may result in an inability to control behaviour, a psychologist has told the Central Criminal Court.
Seamus Fitzgerald (aged 21) has pleaded not guilty to murdering his father James Fitzgerald (aged56) in Lisgar, Baileborough, Co Cavan on January 8, 2006.
