Six held after TVs are seized

Six men were arrested today after a lorry packed with plasma televisions worth around €3m was stopped by gardaí targeting organised crime.

Officers searched the vehicle outside the village of Carragh, Co Kildare, at 11.35am.

The men are being questioned at Kildare, Newbridge and Naas garda stations.

They are being detained under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
