Two charged in connection with Navan drugs seizure

Two men in their 20s have today been charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Navan.

Up to €4,000 worth of amphetamine, ecstasy and cannabis were recovered in a search in the Johnstown area on Friday - along with an imitation pistol.

A third man was arrested yesterday, after a number of cannabis plants under cultivation were found at an address in Navan town.

The haul has an estimated street value of between €1,500-€2,000.
