Union urges 'No' vote in referendum

The Technical Engineering and Electrical Union (TEEU) has today urged its membership of more than 45,000 workers to vote against the Lisbon Treaty.

The Technical Engineering and Electrical Union (TEEU) has today urged its membership of more than 45,000 workers to vote against the Lisbon Treaty.

Speaking in the wake of the TEEU announcement, UCD academic and spokesperson for the ‘No’ campaign Kieran Allen said: "The fact that yet another major trade union has called for a No vote against the Lisbon Treaty shows a growing awareness among workers about the dangers posed to their pay and conditions by the Lisbon Treaty.
