Gardaí appeal for help in identifying woman rescued from River Boyne

Gardaí in Drogheda have issued an appeal to help try and identify a woman that was rescued from the River Boyne in the town this morning.

Gardaí in Drogheda have issued an appeal to help try and identify a woman that was rescued from the River Boyne in the town this morning.

The incident happened at around 2am. Members of the Boyne Fishermen’s rescue and recovery service rescued the woman.

She was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital. Gardaí say the woman has shoulder length wavy blond hair and blue eyes. She is believed to be in her mid-40s.

She was wearing a blue t-shirt and brown leggings that had a thin blue and orange stripe.
