Patrol car rammed during high-speed chase in Meath

Gardaí have arrested two men following a high-speed chase last night that ended with a patrol car being rammed in Co Meath.

The car involved was stolen in Dundalk just after 8pm.

Gardaí attempted to intercept it on the M1, but failed and the pursuit only ended when the patrol car was rammed in Donore an hour later.

Two Gardaí who were in the car at the time were not injured.
