Construction worker dies at Galway site

A worker has been killed on a construction site in Galway.

The accident happened at around a 1.15pm this afternoon at the Sports Grounds on College Road.

Health and Safety Authority inspectors were called to the scene, and both the Gardai and the HSA have launched investigations.
