Gardaí say a suspect device found in Dublin last night was a hoax.

It was found under a car in Leighlin Rd in Crumlin shortly before 10pm last night.

The Army Bomb Disposal Unit was called to the scene and the area was cordoned off.

But the device has since been declared safe and the Army has left the scene.

It follows the discovery of two separate pipe bomb incidents in the city over the weekend.
