Greens target junk food ads
Big changes are due for the way fast food is advertised on radio and television.
The Minister for Communications Eamon Ryan has confirmed that measures will be introduced in the new broadcasting bill that will alter the way foods that are high in sugar, fat and salt are aimed at young people.
Eamon Ryan told delegates at the Green's Conference in Dundalk that a promise made on this issue prior to the General Election will become Law.
