Clinton vows to appoint envoy for the North

US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has vowed to appoint a special envoy to Northern Ireland if she is elected to the White House.

The New York Senator says the envoy would help the parties in the North to finalise outstanding aspects of the peace process.
