Orde to speak of PSNI image overhaul
Police Service of Northern Ireland Chief Constable Hugh Orde will today reveal how he helped overhaul the force’s image at a talk in Dublin.
The North’s top policeman will be the guest speaker at a breakfast briefing with the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).
Justin Green, PRII President, said Hugh will talk about the communications strategy he oversaw as head of the PSNI.
“We are greatly honoured to have such a figure of Hugh’s stature and standing,” he said.
“His briefing will undoubtedly be of great interest not only to all public relations professionals but to many other interested parties.”
Hugh Orde has been Chief Constable of the PSNI since 2002.
He was elected Vice-President of the Association of Chief Police Officers for England, Wales and Northern Ireland in 2006.
