A leaving certificate student who killed a Croom man after night out drinking a cocktail of beer and vodka has been sentenced to six years in prison for manslaughter.

Joseph 'Jody' Buston (aged 21), of Towerfield, Croom, Co Limerick was found guilty of the manslaughter of Liam O’Donovan (aged 60), at St Senan’s Terrace in the village in the early hours of November 4, 2006.
