Union hits back at criticism of civil and public servants
The largest union representing civil and public servants has hit back at criticism aimed at its members.
The Civil and Public Service Union says its members are frustrated at the barrage of criticism they face from "neo-liberal commentators in the media".
It says these commentators claim public servants have done nothing in return for pay rises when this is patently untrue.
The CPSU says all sectors of the public service have undergone significant change in recent years, leading to improved efficiency and more value for money.
