Young man dies in Kilkenny road crash

A man in his 20s has died following a two-car collision in Co Kilkenny just after midnight last night.

The accident happened on the N9 between Thomastown and Ballyhale.

A second man was also critically injured in the crash.

Diversions remain in place on the road this morning.
