Twelve held after St Patrick’s Day disturbance in Dublin

Gardaí were forced to send a riot squad into a Dublin housing estate yesterday as a gang of youths went on a violent rampage during St Patrick's Day festivities.

The gang is believed to have set fire to up to seven cars in the Berryfield area of Finglas.

Twelve people were arrested during the disturbances.
