More than 100 schools to lose teachers amid budget cuts

Education Minister Mary Hanafin has confirmed that more than 100 primary schools around the country are set to lose a teacher due to budget cutbacks.

The move comes about following the abandonment of government plans to reduce class sizes further this year.
