Gardaí probe fatal collision

Investigations are continuing into the deaths of two children in a car crash in Co Kildare.

The seven-year-old boy and his eight-year-old sister died when their car crashed into a truck at Nurney yesterday morning.

Their mother and a third child are both fighting for their lives in hospital following the crash.

It is understood the truck-driver was not injured in the incident.
