Greenstar critical of Govt incinerator focus

A leading private waste company says the Government needs to urgently introduce new waste policies to avoid massive EU fines.

Greenstar says a study it commissioned has found that the Government is too focused on incineration as a way of diverting biodegradable waste from landfills, as required by EU directives.
