Aer Lingus and SIPTU reach agreement on cost cuts
The threat of strike action at Aer Lingus has been lifted following an agreement hammered out over the weekend between the airline and SIPTU.
SIPTU members had been balloting for strike action after the company threatened to unilaterally impose new work practices today and to sack anyone who failed to co-operate.
