Four injured in Clare car crash

Four people have been injured in a serious collision on the N18 in Co Clare.

Two cars were involved in a collision with cattle that had strayed onto the busy dual-carriageway at 3.30am this morning, at Ballymorris near Bunratty.

A 22-year-old woman is in a serious condition and three others are being treated for their injuries.

The south-bound lanes of the main N18 have now reopened after being closed for more than eight hours following the collision.
