SIPTU holds strike ballot over Aer Lingus cost cuts

SIPTU is holding a fresh ballot for industrial action among its members at Aer Lingus due to the ongoing row over the airline's cost-cutting plans.

The move follows problems over the interpretation of an agreement on staff flexibility and mobility reached between the two sides last month.
