Man arrested in connection with drugs and firearms seizure

A 25-year-old man is in custody this afternoon following a drugs and firearms seizure on the Meath/Dublin border this morning.

Gardaí raided a house in Rataoth at about 8.30am and discovered a firearm, ammunition, stolen goods and half a kilo of cocaine believed to be worth about €35,000.
