Assault injures three in the North

Three people were injured during an apparent assault last night.

One man was taken to hospital after the incident which happened at about 9.45pm in Glenside Parade off the Crumlin Road in north Belfast.

Police said two other men also sustained less serious injuries, suffering cuts and bruising to the face and head.

They urged anyone in the area who witnessed the disturbance to help their investigation.
