Winter sales push inflation rate down to 4.3%

Ireland's inflation rate has fallen to 4.3% as a result of the traditional winter sales.

The Central Statistics Office says average prices fell by 0.5% last month, bringing the annual rate of increase down from 4.7% in December to 4.3% in January.
