Roscommon man faces jail for raping babysitter

A Roscommon man has been convicted of raping a babysitter more than two decades ago.

The 58-year-old man was found guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court of raping the now 36-year-old woman on a date in 1982 and on three charges of indecently assaulting her on dates between 1979 and 1986.
