Dublin man shot twice in head in gun attack in Spain
It is reported that an Irish man in his 20s has been shot dead in Spain.
The man is known to the gardaà here and is believed to be prominent in the drugs trade.
The man, from Dublin's north inner city was shot in Cancelada, near Estopona on the Costa Del Sol.
The Spanish police arrived at the scene to find a four wheeled drive vehicle with five gunshots. Four in the windscreen, and one in the front passenger door.
The victim was travelling in the passenger seat. When the shots were fired, the driver lost control of the car and crashed, the passenger got out, and was shot, twice in the head.
The driver is injured, but has not been arrested.
The dead man is believed to be involved in the feuding gangs in the Crumlin / Drimnagh area of Dublin.
