GARDAÍ conducted inquiries yesterday into the identity of a man, thought to be Irish, arrested by Spanish police investigating the murder of Dublin gangster Paddy Doyle in the Costa del Sol on Monday.

It is reported that an Irish man in his 20s has been shot dead in Spain.
