Elderly woman dies in Tipperary house fire

A woman in her 80s has died during a fire at her house in Co Tipperary this morning.

The alarm was raised just after 8am, but the woman was dead by the time the emergency services reached the house in Terryglass.

The cause of the blaze has not been disclosed, but gardaí say they are not treating it as suspicious.
