The widow of Detective Garda Jerry McCabe condemned the Government today for its lack of courtesy in not informing her about the release of one of her husband’s IRA killers.

Co Limerick republican Jeremiah Sheehy, who has served a 12-year jail sentence, walked free from Castlerea Prison in Co Roscommon shortly before 8am.
