Man due in court following large drugs find

A man arrested yesterday afternoon as part of an ongoing operation to target the supply of drugs in the Clondalkin area of Dublin will appear before Kilmainham Distrct Court later this morning.

A man arrested yesterday afternoon as part of an ongoing operation to target the supply of drugs in the Clondalkin area of Dublin will appear before Kilmainham District Court later this morning.

The 36-year-old man was arrested at Elm Road, Western Industrial Estate, Naas Road. A quantity of what is believed to be cocaine was seized.

A significant quantity of drugs paraphernalia was also seized at the industrial unit where the man was arrested.

The estimated value of the drugs, pending forensic analysis, is thought to be around €210,000.

The raid was carried out by the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by uniformed officers from Clondalkin.
