Westbury Hotel workers protest against 'exploitation'
Workers involved in the renovation of Dublin's Westbury Hotel are staging a protest this morning against alleged exploitation.
The Building and Allied Trades Union says some of its members have suffered underpayment, illegal deductions from their wages and the non-payment of pension contributions.
Workers who have raised concerns have allegedly been told they will be finishing up work this week, despite the fact that there are months left on the project.
BATU says it believes management at the hotel has a responsibility to help resolve the issue.
