FG demand inquiry after mother dies in hospital toilet

Fine Gael has said the death of a mother of three in a toilet in Dublin's Mater Hospital this week is more evidence of how the current health service is failing the public.

Beverly Seville-Doyle, 39, collapsed and died after waiting in the hospital's accident and emergency department for 19 hours.

Senator Frances Fitzgerald has said an external inquiry into the woman's death must be carried out so that her family can be given answers.
