Four men arrested in connection with €2m drug seizure

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested four men in connection with a drug seizure in Tallaght.

Heroin worth around €2m was seized, along with cannabis and cocaine, when a number of premises were searched last night.

Five premises, both private and commercial, in south and west Dublin were searched last night as part of this joint operation by the Garda National Drugs Unit and custom officers.

Around 10 kilos of what is believed to be heroin was recovered and 4 men were arrested

Depending on forensic analysis the drugs could be worth around €2m.

A small quantity of cannabis and cocaine, with a combined street value of around €5,000, was also recovered.

The four men, who are in their 20s and 30's, are being detained at Tallaght and Rathfarnham Garda Stations.
