Police investigate attack on Belfast bus

Police in the North are investigating an overnight attack on a tourist bus in south Belfast last night.

The bus, belonging to the Paddy Wagon company, was parked near Queens University when its windows were broken.

An attempt was also made to set the vehicle on fire.

The police are examining a possible sectarian motive for the incident as the company's distinctive coaches have previously been attacked for sectarian reasons.

The bus driver says it was the first visit North by most of his passengers and he has reluctantly had to cancel the rest of the trip, which had been due to take them to the north coast and Derry.
