Families demand answers about Donegal crash deaths

The families of five young men killed in a car crash in Donegal more than two years ago are demanding an update from the DPP about the investigation into the tragedy.

David Steele, Darren Quinn, Gavin Duffy, Charlene O'Connor and Rochelle Peoples, who were all in their 20s, died when their car and another vehicle were involved in a head-on collision at Quigley's Point in October 2005.

The driver of the other vehicle was also injured in the crash.

Gardaí launched an investigation, but the families of the victims say they are still awaiting answers.

They are holding a press conference today to demand that the DPP inform them of what action, if any, will arise from the investigation.
