Father Ted milk float to tour Ireland in charity ‘drive’

The Father Ted milk float is to tour the country in a new charity ‘drive’.

The iconic vehicle which featured in an episode of the hit comedy will leave from Eyre Square in Galway today on a 40-day, 800-mile push around the country.

The wacky charity initiative in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland is all part of next month's annual Father Ted festival that will take place on Inis Mor.
