Consumer group slams transport price hikes
The Consumer's Association has accused public transport operators of ripping off commuters.
The cost of using Iarnród Éireann's bus, rail and DART services is to increase by around 5% from mid-week.
Monthly tickets for Commuter trains will increase by €4.50.
The cost of Luas tickets is also increasing by 10 cent from tomorrow.
The Consumer's Association has said there is no justification for this type of increase.
