Gardaí release teenager held in connection with killing

Gardaí have released a teenager being questioned in connection with the death of Darren McKeown in Drogheda last week.

Mr McKeown died in hospital on Saturday after being assaulted in the town on St Stephen's Day.

A 19-year-old man - the sixth to be arrested in connection with the assault - was released by gardaí last night pending instructions from the DPP.
