Search underway in Mayo for missing mother-of-three

A major search operation is underway in County Mayo for a mother-of-three who's been missing for three days.

The missing woman, 53-year-old Marion Carr from Hollymount, has not been seen since 2.30pm on Thursday.

Her car was later found in the town of Ballinrobe.

More than 40 locals have joined the search, which has also involved gardaí and the Air Corps

Ms Carr has been described as 5' 10" inches tall, with short brown hair and copper hightlights.

When last seen she was wearing a maroon jacket, white t-shirt, dark trousers, and black shoes.
