Galway based lotto winners collect €13m

The Galway based winners of the second highest Lotto jackpot of over €13m collected their cheque earlier today.

The syndicate members travelled to the National lottery offices in Dublin to pick up the win today.

A spokesperson said they knew on the night of the draw that they'd won.

They've been playing lotto since it started here in 1988 and it was a quick-pick which struck lucky on Saturday last.
