Two men questioned over North East heroin seizure

Two men were this evening questioned by Gardai in County Meath after the seizure of €3m worth of heroin.

The haul was uncovered when Gardai stopped a jeep on the N2 Dublin to Derry road near Collon at about 2pm this afternoon.

The two men who were arrested are being held at Navan Garda Station.

The discovery was made during a joint operation involving local gardai and members of the National Drugs Unit.
