Woman dies after being hit by truck on Dublin

A woman has died after being struck by a truck in Dublin this afternoon.

The collision happened at the junction of Phibsboro Road and the North Circular Road at around 1pm.

The 63-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Gardaí at Mountjoy have appealed for anyone who saw the accident to contact them.
